Here is a small
part of my story…

After the loss of a loved one and a bad ending to a long term relationship in the same week, I quit eating. I dropped 15 lbs in a matter of a couple weeks, getting as thin as 105 lbs. Once I did start eating again, I ate anything and everything. My moods were inconsistent, my body fat had risen by more than 10% and I was unable to see my self worth. So I ate without a second thought, I quit working out because I didn’t see it as worth my time, and I drank to hide what I was really feeling. It wasn’t until a family vacation that I realized I couldn’t look at myself in pictures. I saw it in my body and my face how unhappy I was. After months of not really looking at myself, I finally saw the truth and I knew I had to change, for myself. I traded my fast food habits for meal prep. I slowly made my way back into the gym doing things that I remembered or workouts I found online. I asked friends, family, professors and coworkers for help or advice and I cut things AND PEOPLE out that didn’t make me feel good. Keep in mind that my progress was not all uphill, for a while it felt like two steps forward and one step back. But little by little things began to change. I began to realize that I wanted to help others see how much a healthy lifestyle can change your life, just like it did for me.
